AVA Adaptive Virtual Authority (“AVA”) is a private Windows desktop application operated by Ascend AI Systems LLC and distributed through Microsoft Store under the publisher identity Ascend AI A.V.A. This policy describes the certified AVA Desktop v1 application.
Information AVA processes
AVA processes information deliberately provided by its OWNER, authentication and session state, chat requests and responses, and bounded system and runtime information needed to operate the application safely.
AVA can display locally admitted Foundation evidence. Depending on what the OWNER has admitted, that evidence may include business or contact information relating to clients, employees, prospects, or other people. AVA does not independently obtain that information from those people.
Where information is processed
Certified AVA Desktop v1 processes its application data locally on the OWNER-controlled Windows device. Its authenticated runtime communications are restricted to loopback connections on that device. The certified application does not include a live external AI or model provider and does not transmit telemetry.
AVA does not sell personal information, serve advertising, or share application data with advertising networks. Microsoft may process Store account, download, installation, and service data under Microsoft’s own terms when AVA is distributed through Microsoft Store.
Sessions, chat history, and lifecycle
OWNER authority and AVA ChatSession state are held in process memory. The certified lifecycle invalidates and destroys that state on events such as OWNER logout, workstation lock, session disconnect, suspend, owned-runtime failure, restart, and explicit Quit. Windows unlock or resume does not restore OWNER authority.
AVA Desktop v1 has no persistent chat transcript database or file. Closing or quitting AVA ends active session state, but it does not erase every persistent application-owned file described below.
Persistent application data
AVA-owned files can remain under%LOCALAPPDATA%\XZATIK Worldafter Quit. These include Windows DPAPI-protected projection credential material and OWNER verifier material used to protect local access.
XZATIK World also uses browser local storage for user-interface preferences and simulated World, game, and economy presentation state. That local storage does not hold OWNER authority or AVA Chat history. Application-owned files outside the package may remain after uninstall.
Diagnostics and sensitive device capabilities
No persistent application diagnostic or log writer was found in the certified Desktop v1 production graph. Bounded console diagnostics may exist while the runtime is operating, but AVA does not transmit them as telemetry.
Certified AVA Desktop v1 does not request access to the microphone, camera, location, contacts, notifications, screen capture, clipboard, voice services, browser automation, or generic user files.
Security
AVA uses an OWNER authentication boundary, protected Windows credential material, authenticated local runtime channels, loopback-only networking, exact process and endpoint ownership checks, lifecycle invalidation, and fail-closed behavior. No security measure eliminates every risk, but AVA is designed to minimize retained data and reject unverified runtime state.
Your choices and deletion requests
The OWNER controls which evidence is admitted to AVA and may stop active processing by locking or quitting the application. Because uninstall may leave application-owned data outside the installed package, contact us for deletion assistance rather than removing protected files without verifying the installed layout.
To request access, correction, deletion assistance, or ask a privacy question, email jayden@builtbyascendai.com. We may need to verify the requester before acting.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before shipping a version of AVA that materially changes its data practices, including future provider, voice, screen-perception, persistent-memory, remote-access, or operator capabilities. The effective date above identifies the current version.
